On July 10th and 11th, the city of Padua welcomed partners from across Europe for the Transnational Partner Meeting of the Moving On project. The gathering provided a valuable opportunity to review the project’s progress, discuss key developments, and strategize the upcoming phases to be activated. Partners from various organizations worked together to ensure that the project continues to drive forward its mission of promoting equality, inclusion, and participation of Roma and Traveller communities in sports.
In addition to the meeting, participants had the chance to take part in the European Sport Event. This unique event brought together diverse communities, fostering engagement through sports activities and highlighting how sports can be a powerful tool for promoting inclusion and equity. The event allowed for hands-on experience and discussion about how sports can break down barriers and create positive social change.
The combination of the meeting and sport activities helped deepen partnerships and strengthen commitment to inclusion through sport.
